Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs)

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) set out the terms for the sale of services offered by Act’in Theatre:

  • In-person theatre and improvisation workshops (for adults and children)

  • Online theatre courses (videos, educational materials)

  • Events and shows

2. Pricing and Payment

Prices are indicated in British pounds (£) or euros (€), including all taxes.
Payment is made online via secure providers (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) or on-site for in-person workshops.

3. Booking and Access

  • For in-person workshops: registration is confirmed upon payment.

  • For online courses: access is granted immediately after payment confirmation and is valid for the indicated duration.

4. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the Consumer Code, the user has a 14-day period to exercise their right of withdrawal, except if the service has already started (immediate access to an online course, workshop already attended). In such cases, no refund can be requested.

5. Cancellation and Refund

  • In-person workshops: any cancellation must be notified at least 7 days before the start of the workshop. After this period, no refund will be issued.

  • Online courses: no refund will be given once access has been granted.

6. Liability

Act’in Theatre undertakes to provide services in accordance with their description.
The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during registration.
Act’in Theatre cannot be held liable for any website interruptions or technical issues beyond its control.

7. Intellectual Property

The content of online courses (videos, PDFs, exercises, materials) is protected by copyright.
Purchasing a course grants the user a personal, non-transferable licence. Any reproduction, distribution, or resale is prohibited.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French and British law.
Any dispute will first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution before any legal action.
